Warners Group Publications Strengthens Partnership with Exact Editions with New Addition of German Military History Title Iron Cross

Iron Cross, the UK’s only magazine focusing entirely on German military history from 1914 to 1945, is now available through the Exact Editions digital platform. Libraries can subscribe directly through Exact Editions to give their students and academics unlimited digital access to the complete archive and ongoing issues, and individual subscriptions including digital access will be available on the publisher’s website soon. Iron Cross bolsters Warners Group Publications’ expansive roster of over 20 specialist interest titles that are hosted by Exact Editions, ranging in subject from art and crafts to outdoor hobbies.

Launched in June 2019, Iron Cross puts the German military under the microscope; looking at organisations and tactics, as well as at materiel, technology, politics, and the more personal and human elements of the German serviceman’s experience. Featuring detailed accounts of historical battles, in-depth profiles of military figures, and comprehensive analyses of wartime strategies and artefacts, the magazine covers the land, sea, and air war across all periods of both wars.

As well as innovative navigational tools that permit readers to easily browse, read and share content, institutional subscriptions are IP-authenticated for seamless access and benefit from a comprehensive search function that enables readers to pinpoint specific battles, key words or important war figures from the whole archive at the touch of a button. Individual subscriptions will be facilitated through Exact Editions’ Universals Service, which allows publishers to sell their own digital access through their website.
